Night in Sao Paulo

We visited our friends Ron and Christine Hamstad in Sao Paulo this weekend. They run a School of Ministry in the city of Santo Andre. It was refreshing to hear how the Lord is working through them. It was a great weekend with them and the Thresher family......we even went to the new Starbucks! It has been about 6 months since I have been able to taste a good 'ol fashioned Americano. I had one hot and then one iced...yessss! Here are a few shots of the night sky I took from on top of our hotel. Caught a few lightening shots. We also thought of our friend Thom Worthington when we saw this motel sign with his name on it. Word of advise...motels in Brazil are not "family" establishments...if you know what I mean.

What a fun weekend! Starbucks in Brazil didn't know they had one....that is good to know! Do they have giftcards made just for Brazil like they do for Hawaii?? Just wondering if Bernice checked that out! :)
